Open the registry editor by typing regedit in Start > Run. Then go to the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/Current Version/Explorer/RemoteComputer/NameSpace
Under that branch, select the value:
{D6277990-4C6A-11CF-8D87-00AA0060F5BF}
Delete this value. This key instructs Windows XP to search for Scheduled Tasks.
